Do I need a prescription for occupational therapy?
Yes, a prescription is needed for treatment.

What should I expect to take place on my first visit?
An initial evaluation will be performed by the occupational therapist that lasts approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour. A thorough review of your medical history; previous level of performance (how you were able to perform prior to the condition); cognitive status; and physical skills will be discussed. After your evaluation is completed, a treatment plan will be devised to address any areas of concern.

How long is each session?
A typical session is 30 – 60 minutes.

Are you licensed and certified?
Yes, we are New York State licensed and nationally certified Occupational Therapists.

Do you treat lower body conditions?
We treat orthopedic conditions affecting the upper body

What if I need to re-schedule or cancel an appointment?
We appreciate a courtesy call 24hrs prior to the appointment date to cancel or re-schedule.

What if I exhaust my insurance benefits, but I want to continue receiving services?
If your insurance benefits expire, are exhausted or you are denied continued coverage, we can transition you to an out-of-pocket sliding scale fee.
